Meet Recap

The Zebras get their first dual meet win of the season against cross-town rival, Westland John Glenn. This marks the second win in-a-row, and third over the past 4 seasons. Individual victories came from Reggie Michaeux (shot put, discus, high jump), Kyle Osborne (100), Dreshawn Jones (long jump), John Gaton (1600), Trent Griffith (800), and Blake Barber (3200).

There was excitement all meet long as John Gaton and Blake Barber closed in the last 80 meters to take 1st and 2nd in the 1600. The 4×100, 200, and 400 all were decided by less than a second between competitors. The distance crew racked up big points by sweeping the 800 and 3200.
